We’re literally living in one of my favorite shows ‘The Twilight Zone” … well, at least that’s what it feels like. It’s so easy to complain and get depressed knowing that we all don’t know what to expect in the near future. Recently, I told myself that I want to have a gratitude jar, which means that I would write down everything good or whatever made me happy that day. So, later on, I can read them all at the end of the year and see how blessed I’ve been. Below I’m including things that I’m thankful for and couldn’t imagine living or being without.
First off, I’m thankful for my health. I’ve never been the best at eating healthy and drinking lots of water. I admit I’m addicted to soda aka Pop lol. Even though I may not eat the best I have always been active. I love walking, exercising, and taking the stairs instead of the elevator; it’s the little things that count.
I’m thankful that all my family and friends are fine. I know some people haven’t been that lucky lately. So, I make sure to check in with everyone, because you’ll be surprised by the battles that everyone is facing.
I’m thankful for my home. My bedroom and bathroom are my favorite places and dare I say the kitchen lol. I can be myself without judgment from the outside world and I take full advantage of it. My LED light, incense, fresh flowers, laptop, tablet, and phone with a glass of wine gets me excited every night.
I can honestly say I look forward to taking a nice hot bubble bath every night. Baths cure my emotions I’m not sure why but I don’t question it.
I’m thankful for the Internet. I’ve always wanted to work from home, simply because you pay so much for it but hardly enjoy it. Especially if you work all day, come home eat, quick showers, and do it all again the next day. You’re not enjoying the one place you can be yourself which never made any sense to me. Granted I know a lot of people enjoy being out and about but I’ve personally always been a homebody.
Last but not least I’m grateful for everyone that has reached out and supported me. If you’ve subscribed to my YouTube channel, signed up for my Patreon, currently reading this blog post I’m thankful for you. You’re helping me do what I love and that’s making a living from home!!!
